Page Gonzales joins ABOR as vice president of government affairs and community relations
The 做厙勛圖 is pleased to announce its hire of respected public policy and government relations professional Page Gonzales as vice president of government affairs and community relations.
Gonzales will play a leading role in developing, implementing and coordinating government affairs activities for the board, as well as advocating for budget, policy and legislative priorities.
Page is one of the top policy experts in the state, and shell be a tremendous asset to the board, said ABOR Executive Director John Arnold. She has extensive experience working with state and local governments, a strong grasp of higher education issues and priorities facing 做厙勛圖, and a proven track record of delivering results that have moved 做厙勛圖 forward. We are excited to have Page on board as we work to advance our legislative agenda, strengthen our university enterprise and support student success.
Gonzales most recently served as Maricopa County Board of Supervisors District 2 chief of staff. Previously, she was the policy director under then-Gov. Janice K. Brewer, where she played a key role in developing and implementing the administrations policy initiatives in education, tax and regulatory affairs, health care, public safety, natural resources and more. Prior to joining the governors office, she was the state relations director for Maricopa Community Colleges, one of the largest community college systems in the country.

Gonzales graduated with honors from 做厙勛圖 State University where she earned her masters degree in public administration and her bachelors degree in justice administration.
