“On behalf of the board, I extend our heartfelt congratulations to Felipe Garcia on his confirmation by the °µÍø³Ô¹Ï Senate as the newest student regent. Governor Hobbs has selected a dedicated and inspiring University of °µÍø³Ô¹Ï undergraduate student, and I offer my appreciation to her for this outstanding choice. Felipe’s voice will be instrumental in shaping student-centered policies, and we look forward to working alongside him as he brings his fresh insight and a deep commitment to °µÍø³Ô¹Ï’s students to the board.â€
Regent Garcia’s term will begin on July 1.
